Running can often feel like a never-ending series of steps to climb and many will put themselves off from even trying because it seems really hard to start. Spoiler, it is hard!
So first thing, congratulations for sticking with it and making it to week 3, you've done really well. It is hard but hopefully you are starting to see the difference and the progress you've made, we certainly can!
This week we ran a combination of 2 mins running (efforts) and 1 min walking (recovery) and repeated 10 times. We also covered an extra 0.25 miles, it might not seem a lot but it is. We did over just 2 miles or maybe a little bit more for those in front.
We were supported by Claire, Ashley, Gill, John, Linda and Andrea. Paul filled in with the coaching until I finally arrived after a nice de-tour. Must check for roadworks this week!
For week 4 we are doing exactly the same again and so no shocks this week, it might even feel a little easier.
